🧩 About Riddlepedia

We make riddles that are worth solving.

Riddlepedia is a free library of riddles with hints and answers, sorted by topic and age. We started in 2024 because good riddles were hard to find online: too many lists were copied from each other, had wrong answers or were padded with filler. We're building the place we wanted to find.

717riddle collections
2,500+riddles with hints and answers
12topics, from animals to logic

How we write new collections

  1. 1
One fair answerEvery riddle should have exactly one answer that a careful solver can reach from the clues. If two answers fit, we rewrite it.
  2. 2
A real hintHints nudge you toward the answer without giving it away, so you still get the "aha!" moment.
  3. 3
Facts checkedRiddles about science, history or games are checked against reliable sources, and math and logic answers are worked through step by step.
  4. 4
Easy to trickyCollections start with riddles young kids can solve and build up to ones that stump adults.

Found a mistake?

With thousands of riddles, some slip through. If an answer is wrong, a riddle has two answers, or a hint gives too much away, tell us and we'll fix it. Corrections from readers make the whole library better.

You can also send us your own riddles. The best ones find a home in a future collection.
